My therapy approaches

Schema Therapy provides the primary framework for the way I understand and work with people's difficulties. I find it offers a meaningful way of making sense of the enduring emotional and relational patterns that can develop over the course of our lives, while also recognising people's capacity to grow and create lasting change. Rather than following a fixed formula, I place great importance on understanding each person's unique experience and allowing therapy to unfold in a way that feels responsive to their needs, pace and readiness.
