What therapy is like with me

Feeling comfortable with the person you’re talking to can make such a difference in therapy. I like to take the time to build that connection, creating a space that feels gentle, relaxed and genuinely collaborative, where you can talk openly about what’s happening in your life and have an equal say in where our conversations take us.

We’ll keep sight of what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work towards, while also making room for the things that emerge along the way. Sometimes that might mean focusing on practical tools that can help with what’s difficult right now; at other times, we might explore more deeply the emotional or behavioural patterns that have developed over time. I bring curiosity, empathy and a genuine interest in understanding your experience, with therapy unfolding at a pace and in a way that feels right for you.

My therapy approaches

Connection and mutual understanding provide the foundation for how I bring different therapeutic approaches together.
