Senior Clinical Psychologist
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself, without worrying about fitting into someone else’s idea of who you should be. Whether I’m working with a child, a teenager, an adult or a family, my priority is creating a space where people feel genuinely welcomed, accepted and understood.
I take the time to really get to know the person in front of me and what’s most important to them. Every person brings their own strengths, experiences and way of seeing the world, so I enjoy adapting therapy to fit the individual rather than expecting everyone to fit the same approach. Sometimes that means talking things through, while other times we might use creativity, play, art or other meaningful ways of exploring ideas together.
Above all, I hope therapy feels like somewhere you can better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move towards a greater sense of peace, confidence and contentment in your life.
As a [title] at Laburnum Psychology, I work with clients across a range of therapy and counselling needs.
I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe enough to be themselves. I enjoy creating a warm, collaborative space where we can work together to understand what is happening, while also exploring practical ways forward. My work is shaped by attachment ideas, EMDR, strengths-based practice and creative approaches, and I adapt these to suit each person's needs, interests and stage of life. Whether we're working with a child, adolescent or adult, my aim is to create a space that feels supportive, engaging and grounded in genuine connection.
