What therapy is like with me
I understand that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar, particularly for children, young people and families. I aim to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, listened to and supported from the very beginning. Building trust and working collaboratively are values that are important to me, and I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely heard.
I enjoy balancing thoughtful conversation with practical strategies that can support everyday life. Every person is different, so I try to adapt therapy to suit the individual sitting in front of me, while maintaining a strengths-based and neuroaffirming approach. My hope is that people leave sessions feeling understood, encouraged, and more confident in taking the next steps that feel right for them.
